Priapus in the Corner Shop

I’m in my mind’s eye

But I’m also in yours

Couldn’t I, pick the flowers up without your gaze

Or maybe buy the milk without the sl i th er of your stare

On the nape of my neck

The round below my back (my mother’s by the way)

Am I deceiving myself?

No, I just live in two selves

One, should ignore such things or such things should be ignored

And the other-

two, is furious

The body I live in is my home

And here it is being invaded

the covert penetration of

 a look

 a gaze

 a stare
